Aporia
According to Jacques Derrida, all of our thinking is flawed in it favors one thing over the other (ex: reason over passion). We need to see the merits and values in whatever is in the lesser part of the equation and we can live more intelligently by appreciating the values in both sides and the tension between. Ex: equality is not always better than inequality, as inequality lead to modern medicinal developments.
We want everything to be clean and simple, it’s not. We should be comfortable with a permanently oscillating nature of wisdom. Being confused and uncertain is a size of maturity and positive. APORIA = greek word meaning insight and puzzlement. We should be proud to be here!
